Parking and Bus Passes

During the first few weeks of the semester, parking will be very difficult. Many extra people will be trying to add classes, and they will also be trying to park. Plan accordingly and add in some extra time to get to your class or appointment on time.

You may pickup parking permits and bus passes at the Student Affairs office in Aptos or at the Watsonville Center.

Academic Survival Workshop

Want some tips to stay organized this semester? Fast Track To Work students are invited to attend a one hour workshop this week. Learn how to keep track of paperwork, remember important dates, where to find extra assistance on campus and more. Use the tools you already have without spending any more money. If you are new to Cabrillo, stay for the campus tour at the end of the workshop. CalWORKs students may count this workshop for activity hours.

The first workshop will be this week on Wednesday August 25th at 10:00. Meet in room 914. The tour will start at 11:00.

Limited Office Hours During Flex Week

Fast Track To Work will be closed in the morning on Thursday 8/26. We will be open from 1:30 to 5:00

Friday 8/27 the office will be closed all day.

Financial Aid Status

Students can go to the Financial Aid office to find out if their file is complete. Once their file is complete, they can ask in writing to be put on the Federal Work Study waitlist; Even if they requested Federal Work Study on the FAFSA, they need to submit in writing directly to the Financial Aid office that they want to be put on the waitlist. Processing of Financial Aid awards may take longer than usual as they work out the bugs in the new system. But, files will not be processed until they are complete (all requested documents submitted).
