Administrative Director Job Opening

The Pajaro Valley Arts Council, which operates the Gallery at 37 Sudden Street in Watsonville and the Sculpture Is exhibit at Sierra Azul Nursery, is seeking applications for the newly created position of Administrative Director. The position is envisioned as an interim position for a one to two year transition during which we secure the funding base to launch an Executive Director position.

The Administrative Director (AD) is a part time hourly position without benefits. Hours will vary from 15 to 25 hours per week depending on the Gallery's exhibit calendar. The AD will oversee and ensure the completion of all tasks needed for the smooth functioning of PVAC, including bill payment, exhibit coordination (sales, tours, and events), grant reporting, tax filing, and any other pertinent administrative tasks.

The AD will work closely with the Board of Directors and be supervised by and report to the President of the Board. Strong clerical and communication skills are required; bilingual (Spanish-English) a big plus.
