The upcoming Build Your Future: Prop 47 Felony Record Change Resource Fair will be an unprecedented opportunity for you to connect to critical resources for a successful life.

Please review the following important information to know about the Resource Fair and the list of confirmed resources to-date.

January 28th
Temple Beth El
3055 Porter Gulch Rd., Aptos

·         3-7pm Resource Fair

The resource fair is free and will have dozens of services represented to provide information. There is no registration or sign-up required for clients attending the resource fair.

·         All clients should bring a Photo ID if possible
·         Clients should bring proof of public benefits (public benefits card) or other proof of low income if applicable to access reduced Live Scan fee to obtain their criminal record.  See below for more information about obtaining criminal records.

The first step to changing one’s record is obtaining a copy of their official criminal record through the DOJ.  This service will be available at the resource fair.

There will be 40 scholarships provided on a first come – first serve basis available to individuals with low-income who need a complete fee waiver for this service.  Thank you to Goodwill and other community partners for your sponsorship of these scholarships and Live Scan for their reduced fee agreement!

Otherwise clients will need to bring $15 and a copy of their public benefits card or other proof of low-income to access the Live Scan sliding scale fee of $15 arranged for this event.

A van will be available to transport people to and from two pick up points in Watsonville (Thank you CAB).  Please see the TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULE below and email Megan at to secure someone a ride.
The event location, Temple Beth El, is also on bus line 71.
