Supervised Study Log 

Print out the PDF and fill in by hand or open the Excel file and type in your hours. The formulas in the Excel file will add up your hours for you. You may also pick up copies in our office.

All CalWORKs students are required to submit a Study Log for any supervised study hours reported on their HAR. You may keep this sheet with you or keep it in the binder on our front counter.

Remember that for every one hour of class you may claim one hour of unsupervised study time. Study time beyond that must be supervised. You can work in the Fast Track office, Library, Computer Technology Center, STEM Center, or Tutoring Center for these hours.

Summer and Fall 2016 Schedule is Online!

It's time to start preparing for the Summer and Fall semesters. Dig out your ed plan, make sure it is up to date, and compare it to this schedule. Check that the classes on your ed plan are being offered.
 

Registration for Summer starts 5/2 at 8:00
Registration for Fall starts 5/11 at 8:00

If the classes you need are not being offered or your ed plan doesn't have Summer or Fall 2016 on it, make an appointment with our counselor. Stop by or call us 479-6344.

Are Your Fees Paid?

Log into WebAdvisor and click on Make A Payment to make sure you do not have a balance due. Any prior balance due can prevent you from registering for new classes.
If there is a balance due, contact our office now!

Cabrillo Student Senate Election 2016 is here!!!

The time has come for you to elect your new student representatives.

Voting Begins: Monday, April 25, 2016 at 9am
Voting Closes: Friday, April 29, 2016 at 12pm

Before you vote it is very important that you avoid making the following common mistakes:
• INCORRECT STUDENT ID NUMBERS
• MISSPELLED LAST AND/OR FIRST NAMES
• DUPLICATE VOTES, BOTH OR ALL WILL BE DISQUALIFIED

YOUR VOTE WILL BE DELETED BEFORE THE FINAL COUNT IF YOU MAKE THE ABOVE COMMON MISTAKES

The students who are voted into the Student Senate will be managing a budget of approximately $245,000 in discretionary funds, $30,000 of Student Representation Fee Funds and $130,000 of Student Center Fee Funds during the next academic year 2013-14.

Beginning Fall 2016, students will lose their BOG fee waiver if they have been on academic or progress probation for two consecutive semesters.

Fun, Free, Hands-On Financial Workshop

The Student Resource & Support Network has partnered with Bay Federal Credit Union to present students with a Bite of Reality! A FUN, free, hands-on financial education simulation.

We are seeking participants for Friday, April 22, 2016 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm, in Room 609. Lunch will be provided!

We would like all students on campus involved. As a participant you will meet other fabulous students, discover spending choices, enjoy a free lunch, and 3 hours of FUN!

Scholarship applicants will be notified by mail of their status and of any requirements that need to be met to receive their scholarship funds.

Scholarship funds will be released if all requirements are met: Thank You Letter received and Enrollment requirements met

Free Tax Preparation

Get assistance with your taxes here in our lobby on Thursdays from 4:00 to 7:00. 

What to bring:
  • Photo ID
  • Social Security cards or ITIN for each person on your tax return
  • W-2, 1099, 1098 forms for all jobs held in 2015
  • Child care costs for 2015 & provider info
  • A voided check for direct deposit (optional)
  • Copy of 2014 tax form (not required, but helpful)
