Community Organizer-Independent Living Services Coordinator
The Community Organizer – IL Services Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of a yearly advocacy strategic plan. The CO will facilitate training to individuals and groups including agency staff and board members on community organizing and advocacy that leads to systemic changes and inclusion for people with disabilities. In addition, this position will be providing individual service coordination developing independent living plans and assisting the consumer with goal setting that will assist the consumer with meeting their independent living needs.

Full-time Santa Cruz County (37.50 hours per week)
Position in based in Santa Cruz County location and will provide independent living services in English and Spanish that promote independent living to persons with disabilities who are trying to live more independently within their communities. Provide the following independent living core services: information and referral, individual advocacy, personal assistance services, housing assistance, peer support, independent living skills training and benefits assistance.
